My Experience of Treaking on Peb Fort (Vikatgadh), Neral (Matheran)

                              PEB FORT TREAKING IN  WINTER

           I am writing this blog post to share my good/bad experiences while hiking on PEB Fort on my own. I hope it’ll be of some help in planning your trek.
           I started my journey from Kalyan with my friends. Then using public transport that is Local Train we arrived at Neral station at about 8:30 AM.
         outside the neral railway station there are rickshaws they take ₹ 50 RS per head,But it was too costly. Hence we decided to walk throughout road to the backside of the fort from the FANASWADI.

         Mainly there are many ways to get on the fort but the hard way is from the backside of the fort. 
         We started trekking from village ANANDWADI. Many times we have choosen the wrong way but someone from Dombivalikar has marked way to the up. It was very helpful during middle way of the fort. 
         At once when we gone the wrong there was straight hill we tried to climb but it was very risky if . So I highly recommend do not try to climb straight up to hill on big rocks. It can be your last day of your life
       There is always other way if treaking is going a bit harder. Don't waste your energy and time on wrong ways, choose the way wisely
        As halfway of fort we stopped and done the lunch. There was some kind small tunnel (60*60 cm). I think that is some king kind of jail. There are about 5 or 7 jail in total.
        After lunch we continued our trekking up to fort. At last we made it. we required about 3 to 4 hr. As we have choosen wrong way many time hence we made it sharp about 12:30 

        We enjoyed all the views slept, for some time. And start the descending sharp at 1:30 pm. We choose the different way to descend that is from the Matheran railtrack. There is one home at the top some kind of ashram. We talked to them and we got the way to Matheran railtrack. From the front side by the side of the (buruj) constellation. We arrived to hill of the matheran.

 It was the easy way but the sun was at top of the head. We were completely out of the water. waterbag was empty. By the god mercy we found the 2 people carrying water bottles we asked them. They told that the you will get it from the railtrack of matheran at 145 MN . This is the track number if you are going, remember this.

        We got the water source, we filled water bags and start the descending by railtrack. There is road at the side of track we continued walk. Luckily we got got the Maharastra  bus they taken us and dropped to neral railway station for ₹25. 
         If you are going, walk  the road you will get rikashaw or bus or tumtum they will take you to neral railway station.
         We have successfully completed our trekking . It was beautiful journey. remember this journey was in winter season about in December 27.
